Three Czech students at an Erasmus+ seminar in Germany
Three students of our school decided to celebrate the New Year a bit differently than usual. They chose to take part in an Erasmus+ project and they welcomed the New Year in the South Saxon mountain range Harz together with some young people from a few other countries. During the week from 28/12/2014 to 4/1/2015 they were accommodated a holiday centre in Sonnenberg and they had a lot of opportunities to make new friends with teens not only from Europe but also some other parts of the world, e.g. Germany, Poland, Estonia, Georgia and Tunis. The main topic of the seminar was “Development” and the participants exchanged their experiences and opinions and also discovered some special aspects of their cultures. The big advantage of such international meetings always is improving the speaking skills. Besides that, we managed to establish new contacts and as one of the Czech students said, it is fantastic how many new friends from abroad you can get during just one week.
